For generations, people have used the game of Rock Paper Scissors to settle disputes.  From ball fields to boardrooms, it’s considered the ultimate decision maker.  Some people claim it’s a game of chance, others boast they hold a secret formula for success. 

This September, Big Brothers Big Sisters will settle the score once and for all!  We’re crowning Saskatoon’s Rock Paper Scissors Champions!

Here’s how it’s going to work.  People will put together teams of four competitors and begin collecting pledges from friends and family.  Just $100 in pledges per team will get you in the game. 

There will be three preliminary rounds.  September 9^th, 16^th and 23^rd at Joe Dogs Sports Bar in the Patricia Hotel.  Teams will only be required to attend one of these nights.  The teams that do the best will move on to the Championship round September 30^th at Joe Dogs.  That’s the night we crown Saskatoon’s Rock Paper Scissors Champions!

The best part is the prizes.  We have commissioned a special and unique trophy to go to the winning team.  Plus, WestJet and Marlin Travel have already stepped up to provide an awesome prize for the top individual fundraiser.  Details are still being finalized but we anticipate having prizes for other top fundraising teams and individuals as well as the team with the best uniforms. 

We’re encouraging all our friends in the community to get behind this new and exciting event.  So start getting your friends together and assembling your teams.  You can call the office anytime to register.  Or, if your company is interested in sponsorship or donating a prize we have tons of options.  Let us know and we’ll make sure you get the sponsorship package.
